We have just been informed by the Maldon Tourist Office that they have run out of tickets for Friday evening's broadcast of the BBC's Any Questions?....

Earlier today, Colin Baldy, the festival's Artistic Director spoke to Dave Monk on BBC Radio Essex about this year's festival with more details of upcoming events for this year.

We are delighted to announce the first ever season ticket for the Maldon Festival of Arts are now available from the Maldon Tourist Information Centre......

BBC Radio 4's Any Questions? Which is being hosted by the Maldon Festival of Arts on 25th June, will be just three days after George Osborne delivers his emergency budget on 22nd June.  As a result there is expected to be a high demand for tickets for the programme which will broadcast from St Mary's Church, Church Street, Maldon. 

We are delighted to announce the appointment of our first President. Lord Petre, the Lord Lieutenant of Essex, has graciously agreed to be the first imcumbent of this position.  The Lord Leutenant is already associated with several local organisations such as:  Brentwood Arts Council; Brentwood Shakespeare Company and Ingatestone and Fryerning Horticultural Society (to name just a few), and we are delighted to welcome him to this role of ambassador for the Maldon Festival of Arts.

The Maldon Festival of Arts will be hosting BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions? on Friday 25th June 2010. 

Any Questions? is a topical discussion programme where members of the public are given the opportunity to put their questions to a panel of personalities from the world of politics, culture, media and elsewhere. The panel is chaired by writer, broadcaster and political commentator Jonathan Dimbleby.

After much consideration we have decided to move the dates for this year's Maldon Festival of Arts.  The fvestival will now take place from 27th May - 4th July and will run on a format similar to the first festival in 2008 where most of the events take place over the weekends.  This will be five weekends in total.
